やまのてトーストマスターズクラブ― 東京･中目黒で英語と日本語でのプレゼン、スピーチ、コミュニケーション、話し方を学ぶなら

７／１６の例会ではゲストが二人みえ、ベテランメンバーが一人復帰しました。現在とても盛り上がっているやまのてトーストマスターズクラブの次回例会のご案内です。

日時：８／６（金） 19:15-21:00
場所：中目黒スクエア2階会議室

普段どおり、見学は大歓迎です。皆様のご来場を心よりお待ちしております。

7/2の例会は新TM年度最初の例会です。会長が所用で遅れることになっていましたので、開会宣言は教育担当副会長が行いました。見学者は2名でした。その後今夜のトーストマスター(TMOE) が司会として例会の進行管理を継続して担当しました。欠席者対応の後、今日の言葉の「熱狂的な」が熱狂的な説明と共に発表されました。その後、計時係、文法係、えーとカウンター、集計係より各役割紹介がありました。それぞれわかりやすい説明でした。

日本語のスピーチは「私のプレゼンテーション入門」（情報を伝えるスピーチ、課題１：情報を伝えるためのスピーチ）で、スピーカーの誕生日に弟さんにプレゼントされた本を引き合いに、図などを使ってプレゼンのいろはを解説されました。TMに入会する人の約半数がプレゼン（スピーチ）能力の向上を目標にされますので、見学者や見学間もない会員の皆さんの刺激になったと思います。司会のプログラム作成ミスでテーブルトピックス（TT）が無かったことから、事前に割り当てのあった会員に、TTでどんな質問をする予定だったのか訪ねました。ワールドカップなど、とても時季にあった回答でした。スピーチに対する論評は、良かったところ、改善点を手際よく述べておられました。さすがTM経験の長い会員です。

その後今日の言葉、文法係、えーとカウンターの報告がありました。休憩時間は楽しい雑談や、コメント記入、書面論評などをやっている間にあっという間にすぎました。

After the above short recess, the English session was convened by Toast Master of the Evening (TMOE). Word of the Evening “surprise” was also presented. As role explanations were done in the Japanese language session, only names of role takers were introduced: Timer, Ah Counter, Gramarian, and Vote Counter. After brief confirmation of speaking order and evaluators, English prepared speech session began. The first speaker titled his speech “I have no time” for the CC project #2 “Organize Your Speech” and talked about how he was in short of time spare time daily. It is normal to have anyone to have such time management issues so it was very interesting speech!!! The next speaker presented “BBQ for men” for the project of “The Demonstration Talk, Proj. #3, Speaking to Inform, explaining how to “properly” light up a BBQ fire and he emphasized how men could enjoy this task–timely topic for this season!!! The speech evaluator for the first English speech talked about her comments on both positive aspects as well as suggestions for improvement. As an evaluator, it is a challenging task to provide effective feedback to Proj 1-3 speakers but she did a great job!!!

The evaluator for the second speech gave her feedback from a female’s perspectives–gentlemen, be reliable men and also careful and careful what you say to ladies–but it was another great job!!! then General Evaluator evaluated the entire performance of the meeting, covering both the Japanese and English sessions. I am very much sure the attendees had wonderful feedbacks for a better performance at future meetings. Reports of Word of the Evening, Ah Counter, and Grammarian were provided.

The next was one of the most exciting moments of the meeting: Award Presentations!!! The Best Table Topics Speaker, The Best Evaluator, and, the last but not the least, the Best Speaker were elected by vote. Congratulations to those who won the prize for your wonderful presentations!!!

英語部門の後に新会員の入会式が行われ、入会が承認されました。連絡事項として、次回の司会とすでに確定していたスピーカー（3年ぶりにやまのてに復帰予定、スピーチコンテストで優勝を含む入賞経験が複数有る有名TM会員）の発表がありました。次回の例会は7/16です。たくさんの会員、見学者にお目にかかりたいと思います。
